Work Catalogue 1

It's been a long journey in my life of misadventures and the yearning to create, whether writing or painting, sculpting or cooking; even to capture an image thus creating that image at the instant of time in my life on earth.

I'm no expert but have meandered in creating in many sorts, over the years, and I will use this platform which I have recognised [after years] that I can voice myself.

I have been taking photographs, I have written proses and poetries, I have painted, sculpted, computer aided designs, visual arts, published books and many others.

In no particular order present them to my earthies.


This is one of my published book which acts as my catalogue for my pre-forties artwork. I have gone on to produce and publish more books.
    
Currently living in Cornwall, I have ammassed thousands of photographs as well as started to stretch my creativity side, with so much art and artists in the area; it is difficult to stifle the creativity inside. While I live in here, I am building assets with my artwork.
              
Here in Cornwall, Penzance, there is an abundance of the sea materials and charity shops. Much my creation in Penzance are fusion of sea materials and upcycling of old and pre-loved items.


All of the work is hand made and crafted, laboured, days, months to bring and idea to life.

This is my introduction to my artworld.

This book was published 2010 and  had no clue that it existed. It is only when in recent times, a snippet of an article was feature in a thread of a facebook friend, Mr Boiler man. On seeing this it cought my attention, Mr Boiler was unable to supply the details for me to acquire a copy. Few months passed after that and Mr Boiler had another thread in his FB post and this time he had more of the page in it, and that is when I caught the title and started googling it. This book is not widely publicised or advertised, and the title is a bit difficult to make out because of the "script" font. Once I located the publisher I ordered my copy.  I am glad I purchased this book. Lutfur Rahman & Wikipedia 10102020

 As part of my routine searches to compile data for my books, I came across Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ethnic_minority_politicians_in_the_United_Kingdom#List_of_ethnic_minority_directly_elected_mayors And to my surprise there was no mention of the 1st national directly elected ethnic minority mayor. That annoyed me as I am striving to bolster my community's positive outcomes through my book work.                  The above books are available on on-line stores.   In my opinion irrespective of the demise of the person, equally he strived to get to achieve what he did, did for him as a person and his community. It was a Neil Amstrong moment for the community. "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for community [mankind]."
